What kind of artwork do you accept to make a custom edible print?

We take high resolution JPEG (jpg), Portable Network Graphics (PNG), and Graphic Interchange Format (gif) images.

How do I know my artwork will print well?

Once artwork is submitted, a preview of the print appears that represents how your image will look when printed. Any imperfections that appear upon placing the order will be in your print. To safeguard against low quality edible prints, we restrict uploading images that are too small to fill your print area. For best print quality, please aim for an image size that is at least 1000 pixels. When requesting digital images from friends and family, make sure to send emails that maintain the “actual size” of the image

How do you handle copyrighted images?

We require express written permission from the publisher or image owner to reprint any copyrighted and trademarked images and materials.

Can I order Boy Scout of America edible images from YouCake?

Yes, we are an official licensee for the Boy Scouts of America. The BSA Officially Licensed Product Label and the BSA Holographic Seal will be affixed to your YouCake package. When presented to a bakery, they will be able use the BSA edible toppers to decorate your cake.

How long does it take to process an order?

Once artwork is submitted we will get back to you within one-business day with either a preview of your design or a note from our designer regarding any problems encountered with an image.

I have an order request and I don’t see the option online, who do I contact for special requests?

We specialize in personalization and we take special requests and offer many add-on services – just contact us at contact@youcake.com or call 212-358-7791. Some requests include cello bag and ribbon, sprinkle colors, custom gift boxes, sending cookies as gifts to multiple locations, and much more.

How are products packaged and how long do your products remain fresh?

All toppers are sealed and should be kept in its sealed package at room temperature until ready for use. You do not need to store the product in your refrigerator and they will still fresh for 6-7 weeks.

Are your products FDA approved?

Yes, we use edible supplies that are manufactured in the United States and are FDA approved. Please contact us to receive this information.

Are your products Gluten Fee and what are your nutritional and dietary guidelines?
